Mindset

We always talk about what it is we want in life. “But, do we put in the work that is needed to achieve this”. It has taken me some time, however with a shift in my mindset “I am READY”. Not just setting these goals, but smashing them. “I want results”. I know how important this is, I tried and failed. For example, “I said I wanted to lose some weight”. The first week I went shopping, bought everything that was healthy. Looked up some programs on YouTube. This lasted about a week. (Fail) I later figured out, it wasn’t that I couldn’t managed the healthy eating, or exercise. It was my mindset, something just wasn’t connecting, and to be completely honest I wasn’t motivated enough. You have to be mentally ready to embark on change or else you will NOT see results. Think about this, if you start small which is what I am doing now. Set a goal to complete. Have a plan. Within 30 days, then 60 days, Whatever works for you. Put your head down and focus on it. No unnecessary distractions. Think about how much you could achieve. I mean I could have reached one of my goals if I had stuck to that. But no, I am however learning from my mistakes. I am lucky enough to have supportive people around me that motivates me. With that being said. My plan is to let my action speak rather than my words. Instead of watching other people on Instagram, and watching rubbish on tv. I am going to put in some work, that is going to benefit me Spiritually, Mentally and Physically. Stop giving reasons as to why I can’t. NO MORE EXCUSES! YES I CAN!

Hi Guys, My name is Melecia. I have two lovely children, ages 9 & 3. I pride myself in being a good friend and support system to those around me. However I now feel it is time to do something for myself hence this #blog. I fine it so difficult to talk about myself when ask this question, however I am going to give it a try. I love Marvel films and would binge watch as many as I can. My favourite however has to be the first Avengers. Come on who doesn't like superheroes. I love to learn, and I am all about experience and being around people whom I can learn from. I love motivational quotes and yes I tend to repost them. I have a very small close group of friends I believe quality over quantity and I am so blessed to have them. I will be diving into various topics, about my life and how I overcome some of my trials. I believe I have more to offer than my current job, so I'm hoping this blog will help someone.
